Internal Quality Auditing

OPS-QLT-0025 daysEnglish or Arabic

Overview

Internal audits show whether a quality management system works in practice, not only on paper. Yet many audits become box-ticking exercises that find minor documentation gaps while missing the real risks to customers and performance. Effective auditors look at how processes actually run, gather objective evidence, write findings that managers understand and follow up until problems are genuinely fixed.

This internal quality auditing course, based on ISO 9001 requirements and ISO 19011 guidance, builds the skills to plan and carry out audits that add value. Participants learn to plan a risk-based audit programme, prepare checklists, interview staff, sample records and write clear nonconformities. They also practise opening and closing meetings, follow up corrective actions and report results to management review.

Who should attend

Quality officers and coordinators, internal auditors, department representatives in quality teams, and staff preparing their organisations for ISO 9001 certification.

Training methodology

Interactive presentations, practical exercises, case studies, group discussions, role-plays where relevant, and a personal action plan that participants apply in their own work.
