Employee Relations & Labour Law Essentials

Course codeHRM-HRM-006
Duration5 days
LanguageEnglish or Arabic
Subject areaPeople, HR & Talent

Overview

Most workplace disputes start small and grow because they are handled late or inconsistently. This employee relations and labour law course gives managers and HR staff a practical grounding in employment principles, fair procedures and constructive relationships with staff. Good employee relations reduce grievances, legal risk and lost productivity, and they help managers act firmly while still treating people fairly.

The programme covers employment contracts, working time and leave, disciplinary and grievance procedures, investigations, dispute resolution and fair termination, with attention to Gulf and wider regional practice. It suits HR officers, line managers and legal or administrative staff in companies and government bodies. Participants leave with clear procedures, practical templates and a plan to strengthen employee relations in their organisation.

Who should attend

HR managers and officers, employee relations specialists, line managers and supervisors, legal and administrative staff, and personnel departments in ministries, municipalities and public bodies.

Training methodology

Interactive presentations, practical exercises, case studies, group discussions, role-plays where relevant, and a personal action plan that participants apply in their own work.
